The follow up to Piano Day 2017 was "7046.35", which was inspired by a musical theory which centers around the properties of a musical "neutral buoyancy." The intent is to allow the listener to exist within the musical environment absent of distraction, while being gently guided through the journey of the song.

"7046.35" is an excellent representation of what I wanted to create going into Piano Day 2018, which is a rarity whenever I write music. While being one of the least technical piece I have ever performed, the chords were carefully crafted for the journey of this song. I hope you enjoy the trip as much as I did creating it. I would also be remiss not to mention two clear influences and personal favorites of mine, the Nashville band Hammock, and composer Max Richter.

If you're interested, 7046.35 is the shortwave radio frequency you're listening to through most of the song, slightly altered, of course. :)
