This release represents my first solo effort, marking an area of unprecedented musical growth and achievement for me, personally. I've learned so much during this journey and have a number of people to thank as a result. My personal musical inspirations came from far and wide: Olarfur Arnalds, Sigur Ros, Keith Jarrett, Tori Amos, a little bit of Pearl Jam sprinkled in, and heck, even a darned video game. 

The very idea of this project would not have been considered without the request of my oldest son, Brenden. I believe the request was something along the lines of "Your children fell asleep to Trecento (my former group), I'm hoping your grandchildren can fall asleep to your music", which was dirty pool to get me out of playing retirement (100% kidding, of course!!). So, this release is dedicated to both of my sons, Brenden & Collin, my daughter-in-law, Amber, and all of my grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, & Wyatt.   

Terry Skaggs - My long time friend, trusting Trecento cohort, extremely talented and very much underrated producer and audio engineer, who bothered to take the the time to guide me down the hallways of right and wrong during this entire process, urging me to further develop, flourish, and paint with brushes I honestly never knew I had available, even after all these years. Everyone should be so lucky to have a friend as talented as Terry. 

And last, but certainly, not least, my wonderful wife, Laura. Words cannot express my appreciation for her never ending love and support. I cannot count the amount of great Netflix series she found thanks to the recording of this collection of songs, however, I would guess at no less than four. Despite this, I would most frequently work on these songs late at night when she would be going to bed in the next room. Now, when she listens to any Fighting For Flags song, It causes immediate narcolepsy. I love you. Sweet dreams, my dear. :)
